On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and rich, delivering concentrated flavours of blackberry jam, black currant, mocha, and plum. It possesses bold structural integrity with 'hard' mountain tannins that have evolved into a supple, silken texture over time, balanced by a persistent freshness and lively acidity.
