Fukuda Shuzo Nagasaki Bijin Daiginjo Sake - 720 ml

Established in 1688, Fukuda Shuzo is a historic 15th generation brewery located in one of Japan's first open ports, where Dutch and Portuguese traders once thrived. The brewery operates with the founding philosophy that 'Sake brewing is done with heart, and nurtured by the wind'.

Description

This premium Daiginjo features a clear appearance and a vividly aromatic bouquet of pineapple, lychee, and Fiji apple. On the palate, it expands into a multilayered feast of exotic fruit, including notes of clementine and pear, supported by a well structured umami richness. The texture is extremely light and tropical, transitioning into a refreshing acidity and a clean basil finish. It is crafted from locally grown Yamada Nishiki rice polished to 38% and fermented slowly at low temperatures. ABV 17%.
